Is a Used Minivan Right for You?

Minivans offer seating for seven or more, easy access through sliding doors and plenty of cargo space for family trips. When buying a used minivan, test every power door and seat, check the tires and brakes, and ask for maintenance records, especially for the transmission.

Before You Buy Any Used Vehicle

Ask for the VIN and review a vehicle history report and the title status.
Take a test drive that includes highway speeds and a hill, and watch for warning lights.
Check the tires, brakes and fluids, and look underneath for leaks and rust.
Consider a professional pre-purchase inspection.

Our used car pre-purchase checklist covers each step in detail.
