Is a Used Sedan Right for You?
Sedans remain a popular choice for commuters in the Heber Valley. They are generally easier on fuel than larger SUVs and trucks, simple to park on Main Street and comfortable on longer highway drives to Park City, Provo or Salt Lake City. If you drive in winter, budget for a good set of winter or snowflake-rated all-weather tires, which make a bigger difference to snow traction than the drivetrain alone.
Before You Buy Any Used Vehicle
- Ask for the VIN and review a vehicle history report and the title status.
- Take a test drive that includes highway speeds and a hill, and watch for warning lights.
- Check the tires, brakes and fluids, and look underneath for leaks and rust.
- Consider a professional pre-purchase inspection.
Our used car pre-purchase checklist covers each step in detail.
